Happier is seeking an Inventory Manager for our Palm Heights resort in the Cayman Islands. The role involves accurately recording type, quantity, quality, and other features of inventory for a clear understanding of the state of the stocks.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare inventory documentation: this involves accurately recording type, quantity, quality, and other features of inventory for a clear understanding of the state of the stocks
- Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock
- Ensure that inventories are constantly up to standards
- Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Maintain daily invoices and shipment records to ascertain the state of all stocks
- Restocking shelves, accepting incoming orders, processing, and packing orders, counting inventory, and ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner.
- Responsible for forecasting company’s future stock needs
- Oversee the constant flow of stocks in and out of company’s warehouse facility
- Ensure maintenance of optimal levels of stock for availability as the need arises
- Set up operation standards for all subordinates to follow
- Ensure proper management of aging and excess stocks
- Review service levels regularly and reconcile inventories
- Respond to complaints and queries concerning inventories and products
- Prepare and submit inventory control reports
- Report and analyze data and present results to senior managers when necessary
- Foster effective and cordial relationships with clients
- Issue purchase order to clients
- Perform clerical duties such as answering of calls and messaging
- Conduct physical counts of inventory
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in business, logistics, systems engineering, supply chain management or similar
- Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role
- Experience working with inventory management software and forecasting strategies
- Experience conducting tracking and data analysis
- Product and inventory management certification a plus
- Must be able to lift heavy objects independently
- Must be able to work outside in the sun for prolonged periods of time unloading shipping containers
- Must be able to work weekends and be available for ad hoc queries.
