PURPOSE OF JOB

Cayman First Insurance is seeking a friendly and organized Customer Service Representative for our Back Office Team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in our operations and provide support to our clients. The ideal candidate is someone who is self-motivated, a quick learner, and someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist customers via phone and email channels.
  • Respond to and resolve customer queries, complaints, and issues.
  • Provide accurate information to customers on company products and services.
  • Maintain and update customer account information in the database system.
  • Process payments, policy change requests and renewals.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Other related duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree is preferred.
  • Insurance certification or willingness to pursue insurance certification (CII)
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites and customer service software
  • Knowledge of insurance products and services is a plus.
