Job Description


Cayman Leasing was established in 2002 to lease and sell vehicles in the Cayman Islands. We import our vehicles from the Japanese and North American markets. Our popular lease-to-own program allows a customer to lease a vehicle over 12, 24, or 36-months and purchase the vehicle at successful completion for a nominal $100. This role is focused on processing, selling, and leasing our vehicles, and managing existing client relationships and compliance throughout leases. This is a hands-on role with the support of assistants. You must be capable of managing a variety of responsibilities while wearing multiple hats in a small business environment.


Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective customers and help them find vehicles that meet their needs by displaying great product and program knowledge.
  • Manage lessee customer relationships and providing excellent customer service to our clients.
  • Achieve sales and growth targets by leasing and selling vehicles.
  • Monitor and manage our customer relationship management portal.
  • Review, prepare, and process applications, contracts, and other important client onboarding documents.
  • Manage all other monitoring and facilitation of lease compliance or client support.
  • Manage, arrange, and monitor the appearance of our available inventory.
  • Manage the clearing, registration, licensing, and preparation of newly imported vehicles.
  • Obtain, maintain, and renew valid insurance for our fleet.
  • Liaise with 3rd party vendors such as mechanic shops, body shops, parts shops and other vendors for the servicing and repair of our vehicles.
  • Obtain parts quotes locally and by way of import.
  • Review and process documentation and vehicles received from lease clients.
  • Make calls to past due clients or clients in non-compliance of leases.
  • Create daily agendas for the support staff and plan their daily activities.
  • Manage the fleet tracking portal.
  • Deliver vehicles to appointments, licensing, or other fleet transportation needs.
  • Carry out licensing, inspections, transfers etc on behalf of the company at the DVDL.
  • Monitor a variety of important expiry dates, insurance, licensing etc, for fleet.
  • Maintain, update, and monitor a variety of fleet spreadsheets.
  • Manage accident claims with the relevant insurance companies.
  • Manage and process natural completion, early completion, and termination processes for clients.
  • Manage insurance cancellations and credits.
  • Manage disputes or complaints with clients.
  • Keep track of, enter, and approve billable activities completed by staff members.
  • Carry out transactions on behalf of the company at various vendors.
  • Photograph, publish, and manage our online inventory and website content.
  • Promote our brand at industry-related events etc. (car shows, races, etc.)
  • Strategy and process improvement with Senior Management.
  • Coordinate e-marketing newsletters
  • Create posts for social media pages
  • Carry out performance reviews in coordination with Senior Management.
  • Manage the job posting, interviewing, and onboarding of support staff.
  • Create a variety of reports for Senior Management.
  • Buy additional vehicles for our fleet in coordination with Senior Management.
  • Enter client payments
  • Setup new clients
  • Enter bills and bill payments
  • Initiate bank payments
  • Create customer invoices and send statements to clients
  • Manage and prepare customs submissions.

Requirements

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience with proven success in management, preferably in a small business.
  • Must have 3+ years of proven sales experience
  • Must excel on pre-employment cognitive ability tests.
  • Must be able to multi-task and wear a variety of hats in a small team.
  • Experience handling large fleets of vehicles such as prior work at a car dealer, rental, or leasing business or as a property management would be a plus.
  • Must have good communication skills and must be fluent in English both verbal and written.
  • Must be very reliable, trustworthy, and flexible.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be over 25-years of age.
  • Must have clean police record.

Benefits

  • $60,000 USD - $80,000 USD per annum plus benefits. There are no income or payroll taxes in the Cayman Islands. Preference is given to qualified Caymanian applicants however persons requiring work permits are also open to apply.
