Dealer Administrator

• Cayman Leasing was established in 2002 to lease and sell vehicles in the Cayman Islands. We import our vehicles from the Japanese and North American markets. Our popular lease-to-own program allows a customer to lease a vehicle for a set term with the option to purchase the vehicle at successful completion for a nominal $100. • This role is focused on processing our vehicles to be made available for sale and lease and supporting management with our backend administration of our inventory.

Responsibilities

• Clear, register, license, and prepare our newly imported vehicles.
• Liaise with 3rd party vendors such as mechanic shops, body shops, parts shops and other vendors for the servicing and repair of our vehicles.
• Deliver vehicles to appointments, licensing, collect vehicles from clients or other fleet transportation needs.
• Obtain parts quotes locally and by way of import.
• Carry out licensing, inspections, transfers etc. on behalf of the company at the DVDL.
• Carry out transactions on behalf of the company at various mechanics, body shops and other various local vendors.
• Photograph and publish our inventory on our website.
• Arrange and monitor the appearance of our car lot.
• Complete various forms, reports, checklists and other documentation required by management.
• Source and review additional vehicles to add to our fleet.
• Prepare customs submissions and clear incoming shipments from port or through couriers.
• Prepare posts for our social media pages
• Create and monitor posts on classifieds sites.
• Assist management with all other ad-hoc needs.

Requirements

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Must excel on pre-employment cognitive ability tests.

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role such as at a car dealer, car rental agency, car leasing business or property management is considered a plus.

• Photography course certificate or similar training is considered a plus.

• Must be able to multi-task and work well on a variety of tasks under pressure.

• Must be fluent in English both verbal and written with strong business communication skills.

• Must have excellent time management skills.

• Must be very reliable and flexible.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be over 25-years of age.

• Must have a clean police record.

• Must be comfortable working Tuesday Saturday. Closed Sunday and Monday.

Benefits

• $40,000 USD base plus performance-based compensation. There are no income or payroll taxes in the Cayman Islands. Preference is given to qualified Caymanian applicants however persons requiring work permits are also open to apply.
