Job Description
- Cayman Leasing was established in 2002 to lease and sell vehicles in the Cayman Islands. We import our vehicles from the Japanese and North American markets. Our popular lease-to-own program allows a customer to lease a vehicle for a set term with the option to purchase the vehicle at successful completion for a nominal $100. Responsibilities
- Greet and provide visitors to our office with a friendly and welcoming experience.
- Answer incoming calls and return calls according to company best practices.
- Assist visitors in selecting a vehicle by learning their needs and showing them the vehicles in our lot.
- Display great product knowledge about the vehicles in our lot.
- Display great program knowledge about our leasing program and fleet sale options.
- Assist prospective customers with initiating compliant test drives.
- Assist visitors with correctly filling out applications and other forms in our front office area.
- Positively contribute to team sales and growth targets by leasing and selling vehicles.
- Provide quality support to existing clients throughout their leases according to company best practices.
- Receive and process documentation from customers according to company best practices.
- Release important documents to clients and others according to company best practices.
- Communicate effectively by entering great notes and messages in CRM according to company best practices.
- Handle customer complaints according to company best practices.
- Complete lessee compliance activities according to company best practices.
- Provide updates to management for tasks underway according to company best practices.
- Keep track of and enter billable time according to company best practices.
- Scan and file documents electronically and according to company best practices.
- Open and close the office according to company best practices.
- Book various servicing and repair appointments for vehicles.
- Process and prepare in-process vehicles according to company best practices.
- Complete various internal forms and checklists according to company best practices.
- Source and view local vehicles for purchase offer recommendations.
- Create expense reports for daily expenses according to company best practices.
- Process documents for signing or approval by management according to company best practices.
- Process insurance quotes and cancellations for our inventory and clients according to company best practices.
- Process settlements for clients according to company best practices.
- Liaise with 3rd party vendors for the servicing and repair of our vehicles.
- Deliver vehicles to appointments, licensing, collect vehicles from clients or other fleet transportation needs.
- Obtain parts quotes locally and by way of import according to company best practices.
- Carry out licensing, inspections, transfers etc. on behalf of the company at the DVDL.
- Carry out transactions on behalf of the company at various mechanics, body shops and other various local vendors.
- Photograph and publish our inventory on our website according to company best practices.
- Arrange and monitor the appearance of our car lot according to company best practices.
- Prepare posts for our social media pages according to company best practices.
- Create and monitor posts on classifieds sites according to company best practices.
- Assist management with all other ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Must excel on pre-employment cognitive ability tests.
- 5+ years’ customer service experience is required
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role such as at a dealer, rental, leasing, or property management is considered a plus.
- Photography course certificate or similar training is considered a plus.
- Must be able to multi-task and work well on a variety of tasks under pressure.
- Must be fluent in English both verbal and written with strong business communication skills.
- Must have excellent time management skills.
- Must be very reliable and flexible.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have a clean police record.
- Must be able to work varied hours/days, weekends, nights, and holidays as company dictates.
